2.3 Summary of the Evaluation Process and Planned Update Cycle
Technology has become in integral component of nearly every function and operation of Bath County Public Schools. Across all budget categories, functional areas, subject areas and job classification, technology now plays an important role. The school division has done a good job providing the infrastructure, end-user tools and professional development to ensure that the division's goals and objectives may be more fully accomplished. The 2011-2015 Bath County Public Schools Technology Plan, aligned with the new Virginia technology plan, will provide the framework from which we will help keep our focus. Through the annual budget review process and professional development planning, the technology plan will be updated as necessary over the next year or two, and then more thoroughly reviewed/revised in 2015.
