Dear Parents and Guardians,

This Monday, December 18th is the official start of exams for all students. Two exams are per day on the full days. Students are required to attend school each day (no exceptions or exemptions). Students will use the Standard Schedule. Inclement weather at this time of year could become an issue that may change the exam schedule so be sure to read this carefully.

1^st Semester/Midterm Exam Schedule

1^ST Day (Monday): December 18th - Full Day Periods: 1 10

2^nd Day (Tuesday): December 19^th - Full Day 2 9

3^rd Day (Wednesday): December 20^th - Full Day 3 6/7 or 7/8

4^th Day (Thursday): December 21^st - 12:30 Early Release* 4/5or 5/6

*(NOTE: If the 21^st is a delayed opening it becomes FULL day of school and the TWO-HOUR DELAY Exam Schedule is used)

Full Day Schedule

(approx. 2hr. 45min. exams, 15-minute break, 40-minute lunches)

8:35 – 11:15 AM Exam

11:15 - 11:55 1^st Lunch (8^th & 9^th Grade)

12:00 - 12:40 2^nd Lunch (10^th, 11^th, & 12^th Grade)

12:45 - 3:20 PM Exam

Two-Hour Early Release Schedule Wed 12/21/16

(approx. 2hr. 45min. exams, 10-minute break, 35-minute lunches)

8:35 - 11:15 Exam

11:15 - 12:50 1^st Lunch (8^th & 9^th Grade)

11:50 - 12:30 2^nd Lunch (10^th, 11^th, & 12^th Grade)

The ABOVE Standard schedules may change if we have inclement weather. Alternate schedules will be posted on the website to avoid any confusion. Below is vital information if there is a change in our original exam schedule.

1. Full day Schedules will “slide” forward for each day missed however; there will be no exams given on Thursday, January 4th if we should “slide” into the New Year.

2. Thursday 12/21/17 (Early Release):

i. Should a Full Day Schedule “slide” forward to the 21^st we WILL have the scheduled exam (periods 4/5 or 5/6).

3. If exams must slide forward, exams for periods 3 and 6/7 or 7/8 will be given on Friday, January 5^th.

BCHS NOW HAS STUDENT ONLINE REGISTRATION!

We are excited to announce online Returning Student Registration for the upcoming school year! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. Your Returning Student Registration for your student at Bath County Public School District is now available online . You. will receive a letter from your school with your child's access key which you will then use to register your child. You will find the links for online registration at the end of this notification.
To help you with this online process, BCPS is providing the following support options for families:
Starting Tuesday August 1st, computers are available in the main office of each school and secretaries will be available to assist you during regular school hours on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
The public library in Warm Springs and Goshen will have computers and staff available to assist you on Tuesday, August 1st and Tuesday, August 8th from 4:00 – 7:30 pm.
School computer labs will be open and available to you with staff assistance on Wednesday, August 2nd and Wednesday, August 9th from 1:00 – 7:00 pm.
School computer labs will be open and available to you with staff assistance on Saturday, August 12th from 12:00 – 4:00 pm.
