Please detail how you have used your tablet PC during instruction in the last two weeks. Subjects/topics/software/activities/etc... Are you at your desk/podium/moving around classroom/etc.
I have created powerpoints for vocabulary. I recently went to a conference for ELL learners and I felt a powerpoint was good for me and good for the students to see the vocabulary word, definition, etc. We have also watched youtube videos on pourquoi tales, as students in third grade are getting ready to read one. I also use my computer to type up my lesson plans on Microsoft Word. We are currently working on a KWL chart using Word where I type in student questions. I am moving around the room with different groups of students.
Please detail your use of the stylus and/or touchscreen of your tablet PC in the last two weeks. What subjects, software, activities, etc. Is a touchscreen acceptable, or do you need an active stylus for precision writing?
