Welcome!
Web and intranet content from teachers and staff has mushroomed since Bath County Public Schools (BCPS) first introduced Windows SharePoint Services 30 months ago. SharePoint is now the sole source for the division’s browser-based communications. Given the broad scope of the package and the simple and consistent user interface, the webmaster role is long gone. Teachers, students, dministrators, and secretaries generate their own web content for basic pages, calendars, simple and complex lists, document and photo libraries, discussion groups, blogs, wikis, and surveys.
Thanks for Attending the Session
Hey Folks, it was good to meet a number of you at the presentation yesterday. WSSv3 is a powerful tool that we like a lot! I'd be interested to learn about what kinds of SharePoint services your school division might be considering or are already implementing. Likewise, let me know if you have installation/implementation questions; I may not know the answer, but could likely refer you to someone that has tackled that issue.
