Meet the School Counselor
Hello Valley Elementary students and parents! I'm Miss Mihaly, the School Counselor. As a School Counselor, I perform many roles to promote a positive learning experience which focuses on academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. My roles include, but are not limited to:
-Individual counseling
-Small group counseling
-Classroom Counseling
-Coordinating 504, RTI, and Child Study meetings
-Consulting and collaborating with parents, teachers, administrators, students, and outside resources
-Classroom observations
-Attending and participating in academic and behavioral interventions
-Assisting with SOL testing
-Providing outside information and resources
