Please detail how you have used your tablet PC during instruction in the last two weeks.  Subjects/topics/software/activities/etc...  Are you at your desk/podium/moving around classroom/etc.

In both physical science and biology I use my computer and projector daily to show video clips, articles, and pictures to my students; mostly of organisms or experiments not available to us. I also use my computer and projector for the PRS system for student review of content

Please detail your use of the stylus and/or touchscreen of your tablet PC in the last two weeks.  What subjects, software, activities, etc.  Is a touchscreen acceptable, or do you need an active stylus for precision writing?

I do not use the stylus or touchscreen very often. A few times a year I will use my stylus during a power point to demonstrate content like Punnett squares. Occassionally I loose the mouse icon and have to touch the screen to retrieve it.

To what new/newer computer would you prefer to upgrade?

I don't know. I'll have to learn more about Windows 8!

What kind of assistance would you like to have from your school instructional technology resource teacher?

I would like to investigate the new system on my own and have the opportunity to question the IT teacher as stumbling blocks arise.
