On Friday March 3rd, Millboro Elementary School students participated in a STEM day. STEM refers to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The students applied STEM concepts to a wide range of activities during the course of the afternoon. STEM days are used to give students practical experience with the concepts they are learning in the classroom and to stimulate more interest in STEM subjects. STEM skills will be essential for many of the jobs these students will be going into once they graduate from high school.
