The BCPS calendar committee requests your opinion regarding calendar development for the 2015-16 school year. We are particularly interested in your thoughts regarding whether or not our Thanksgiving holiday should continue as a full week off from school, or if it should be reduced to three days off with the first two vacation days moved to shorten the school year in June. You may review two calendar options under consideration. Please respond to the survey by March 16.
An email link to the survey was sent to known email addresses of parents; an online response is preferred. A paper copy was also sent home with students on 3/11 to ensure that parents without internet access could respond. Please, only one parent survey should be completed per enrolled child.
A similar email link was sent to BCPS staff, requesting their online response. Staff without school email received a paper survery. All surveys must be returned by March 16.
