Bath County High School students from Mertz Career and Technical Education classes took third place in the KidWind contest, a competition to design an efficient wind powered electric generator. Additionally, they won the Judges Choice Award for their innovation in design. This design was a result of the collaborative effort of students in Technology Education, Electricity and Carpentry classes. The team now advances to the Eastern US regional competition to be held at James Madison University on April 25th.
