Parents - The calendar committee requests your
opinion regarding calendar development for the 2015-16 school year. We are
particularly interested in your thoughts regarding whether or not our
Thanksgiving holiday should continue as a full week off from school, or if it
should be reduced to three days off with the first two vacation days moved to
shorten the school year in June.
You may review two calendar options under
consideration on the division website. Please respond by March 16, either online
(preferred) or via paper
copy (sent home on 3/11/15) returned to your child's homeroom teacher. The first three questions are
required; please be sure to click the "Finish" button to record your survey.
Please, only one parent survey should be completed per enrolled child. The
2015-16 BCPS calendar will be considered by the school board at its regular
meeting on April 8, 2015. Thanks!
